Im new to the site, just trying to make a map for my bro and I to play on. I dont know how to make the teleporters work, to move us to one spot. Is there somewhere I can read up a tutorial or something?

Also, I made a map up to the point of using the teleportors, but I cant even test the map and it just crashes soon as I try to run it. What common problems should I look for?

No, not even I know how the teleporters exactly work. They've all been done by Bittah.

If you have any triggers, those are usually causing them. If you don't have any triggers there aren't many possible causes, buildings overlapping eachother is probably the only one that comes to my mind. There might also be some units that cause the game to crash, there might be some broken ones on the infantry / vehicle lists.

If you can't figure it out on your own, you could post the map here so we can take a look at it.

Making the teleporters work is quite a hassle, since it involves manually coding tubes (tunnels), it takes some trial and error to find find a destination that actually works (some cells work and some don't; when it doesn't, your unit will still try to move towards the destination, but it'll go there without using the teleporter) and several triggers have to be added for the animation, revealing the player locations, re-shrouding the map, destroying the teleporters and so on.

So since this quite easily goes wrong, I decided that even though it takes some time to do, it's probably best to code the teleporters for all maps myself.
