I and stormrider have make a F-18 fighter plane.
So we want to ask if you search for new fighter Jet.
In the cutscenes of Tiberian Dawn there is a F-18 Hornet.
So we thought that this plane could be good for the GDI.
Here is a picture of our self-made plane.
It is only a prototype, not the final version.

GDI currently already has 2 buildable aircraft while Nod only has 1, so I won't add another buildable aircraft to maintain the game balance. If I'd add another aircraft it'll only be available as a civilian unit or as a special unit obtainable by capturing a certain building.

For the balance of the game I have a idea:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gdi aircraft:
Orca
A-10 bomber
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gdi special aircraft:
(F-18 Hornet)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nod aircraft:
Apache
(F-22 Raptor)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nod special aircraft:
Nuclear mig
i hope that it is a good idea.

Adding another plane to both factions just for the sake of adding it won't do much good, even if both sides do remain "balanced" with one another. Gameplay itself is also to be taken into consideration and I really wanna avoid aircraft spamming matches like you can see in some online TS matches on XWIS (where one or both players do nothing but spam ORCA Bombers or Banshees).

We can understand it.
But another question, do you need other voxel units for your mod?
(for example civil cars or other units)

I'd have to think about that, but fitting civilian vehicles are of course always welcome. I've redone the unit palette that'll be used for DTA's next release however, so you're better off using that one instead to avoid loss of quality when I have to convert the colors from the old palette to the new one.
Just out of curiosity; do you create voxels from scratch in VXLSEIII or do you create them with a 3D modelling program such as 3ds max and then convert the model to voxel?

At first thank you for the new palette.
Which civilian units would be good for the DTA mod?
My idea:
- Farm trucks
- Bus
- Farmer Pickup (with straw)
To the last question: I'm using VXLSEIII to create units.

Since you use VXLSEIII you can't just convert the models to SHP instead... The thing is that I actually don't use voxels in DTA at all unless it's not avoidable; so only aircraft and subterranean units are voxels and if I think about it, it's really preferable to keep it this way.
The reason for this is that the quality of SHP units is generally higher and since DTA's terrain has no real difference in height (meaning that units never tilt) and SHP vehicles are able to have 32 facings, there's only advantages to using SHPs over voxels.
So if you really want to make voxels for DTA, it'll have to be aircraft and the quality has to be comparable to the ORCA, A10 and MIG that are already in the game (it's hard to judge the quality from your screenshots because they all seem to be stretched for some reason).

Here is my first shp vehicle.
It's a bus for the civilians.
I don't know how I add the shp into the game and the unit was invisible.
So the shp is still not tested by me.
The shp was created with the DTAvoxel.pal.
I hope that the shp works.

Although I haven't seen your art.ini code, the unit still wouldn't show up ingame even if you got the code right. The reason for this is that your unit only has 4 facings, while it needs exactly 32.
Additionally it also has no shadows and it's way too large compared to any of DTA's other units, which would make it stand out too much to look right. I'm not sure what programs you used to make this unit, I don't think it's possible to make a very good looking SHP unit without a 3D modelling program, because it's impossible to get all 32 facings to look perfectly consistent if you have to draw them all by hand.
