Okay i just bought a new computer and ive been trying to play this game but everytime i try to play it and error comes up and says "This product requires a 16bit pixel depths!" what does that mean?

There's a bug in the current public Launcher version which causes Windowed mode to be enabled by default, it's already fixed but the fix won't be released until 1.12. To solve the issue, just disable the "Windowed (requires 16-bit color)" checkbox and delete CnCNet.ini from your DTA directory (or remove the -WIN argument from the file like Bittah stated).

In that case you haven't played DTA at CnCNet using that computer yet. Simply unchecking the "Windowed (requires 16-bit color)" check box in the Launcher should do.

ok i just deleted it and reinstalled it and it works now

To disable Windowed mode you simply have to disable the 'Windowed' option in the launcher and also remove -WIN in cncnet.ini if it's present (after Arguments=).
