I downloaded the scores.mix file and moved it to the MIX folder as instructed.
When i start the game i don't have any sound, no music and no sound effects.
I have only played a couple of skirmish games but no campaign.
I run win7 64bit. (ultimate)
some hardware info:
I have a tricore CPU, 2.8Ghz
I have a Ati radeon 4600(1mb) graphics card.
I tried running it in compatiblity modes for win 95, win 2000 and win xp(sp1,2 and 3) but i couldn't get any sounds working.
Does anybody know how to get the sound working?

It seems I didn't properly read your first post, my bad.
You said you didn't hear any sound effects at all (rather than just not hearing the music), meaning that this problem is entirely unrelated to the Scores.mix file.
This doesn't sound like a problem that would be caused by the mod itself, meaning you most likely also have the same problem playing vanilla TS; you should try this out if you have TS installed.
Also, do you hear sounds in other games? Try it out in other C&C games if you have any installed to make sure. If you don't hear any sounds on (some) other games (aside from DTA) either, it's most likely that there's an issue with your audio drives and you should try reinstalling those.

Also, you can check the sound options ingame and try adjusting the volume sliders there. I have a random problem with music not working, adjusting the volume fixes it.

Have you already tried directly downloading the music via the launcher itself (by clicking on 'Enable Music')?
