I find it hard to know if I should post something I experience in-game that looks it's 'not done' or looks like a bug - other than if it's already on the forum.
So it there a list of known bugs and 'stuff still being worked on', or soemthing, list? I couldn't find any, but I did look for it.
Anyhow, here's some things I noticed about DTA on classic mode now that I am at it:
>>Transport helicopter is missing its blades.
What's the story about this? A bug? It's not done yet? Cannot be done? It's fun to know.
>>Transport helicopter dropping off one infantry unit then takes off the ground, lands, and drops the second infantry unit off - and so on.
Honestly, I cannot remember if this is also how it worked in the original game?
>>Some spirtes like explosions, if fired at a buildning, fades partly under a buildning's own texture
>>Infantry units that has been given a 'stop' command can get stuck with their 'running' animation but stands still, otherwise.
Not a very critical bug, I know.

Can't be done. It's one of those frustrating limits of TS's engine.
This is because of the workaround used to make the helicopters carry infantry.
In vanilla TS, the only working air transport was the Orca Carryall; even though you could set the number of passengers which an aircraft is able to carry, it will not work properly because of a change to the flight logic in a patch. It was found that making the aircraft use the carryall logic made it work; though with obvious side-effects.
Not sure if anything can be done about this.
I've seen this happen occasionally in every classic C&C game (TD-RA2). I doubt it can be fixed.
I've updated the "known bugs" topic to include the missing rotors and unusual behaviour of the chinook.
