Hello everyone,
I can't update DTA v1.11007 to v1.11008 ,so i shut down the firewall and its not the problem. and i checked the launcher log(see below).
anyone can help me out?

hey man thanx for your answer. i still can play singleplayer,and multiplayer with version 1.11007(if somebody got same version), but can't join other players because my version is not compatible.
everything works except updating...
i also reset my modem, shut down firewall, reset firewall settings,closed avast antivirus, still can't update.

Well, it's still able to download dtaver, so that likely means it is able to make at least some sort of connection... Maybe rather than your firewall, your virus scanner is what's blocking it?
You could also try moving DTA's folder to another place to see if that helps (moving it could reset the permissions for it in the program that's blocking it).

Actually it's not able to properly download it.
I'll have to see if there's a bug that makes it think that it downloaded dtaver while it couldn't. Either way, the file doesn't exist and wasn't properly downloaded. The only real advice I can give right now is that DTA_Launcher.exe needs network access and rights to its own directory, allowing things for dta.dat isn't enough. You could try Bittah's suggestion (moving the folder).

Just sending you that file isn't going to make a difference. Also, from what I can tell dtaver really was downloaded, or the launcher shouldn't have been able to detect a new version was available to begin with...
Well, just to be sure, you could try starting your computer in save mode with internet access (by pressing F8 while your computer is starting up) and see if the launcher is able to download the update then.

What does detecting if a new version is available have anything to do with this? It doesn't even get to the point where it could detect if there's a new version available. This error happens before it displays the "an update is available" popup.ODST52423: If you're unable to solve what is preventing the Launcher from connecting, you could also go here: http://dta.ppmsite.com/updates/ and download all the files there and in the subfolders (except for the "buffer" folders) to their respective locations (files in /MIX/ to the MIX\ folder, etc.) in your DTA folder and it'd be updated. Note that if you do this, doing anything wrong could destroy your installation.

Actually, I just checked which files are different between version 1.11007 and 1.11008 of DTA and the only files that actually differ are Rules.ini, DTA_Launcher.exe and dtaver itself; so these are the only files that have to be downloaded (and replaced) if you want to manually update DTA to version 1.11008.

hey guys, im out of options, safe mode didn't work, downloading the files from ppmsite didn't work, removing my antivirus and disable the cheap windows firewall didn't work, resetting the router didn't work(my internet didn't work yesterday). replace the map/launcher didn't work.
by the way, i also got DTA version v1.10 executable, downloaded from cnc filefront.
maybe its an idea to release the next version as executable, instead the launcher do the work.
let me know if u guys decide it

I normally do also release new versions as a full package at Mod DB, but since the changes made since version 1.11007 only affected very small files, I decided it wasn't necessary.
In any case, I don't see how downloading the files couldn't have worked, so please try it again like this...
First download the following files by clicking on their names below (right-click the hyperlinks and then click on Save Link As/Save Target As):
Rules.ini
DTA_Launcher.exe
dtaver
Then move the files you downloaded to the appropriate directories, replacing the original file that's already in there (Rules.ini goes to the INI sub-directory, while DTA_Launcher.exe and dtaver go to the main directory) and that's all.
