Hi all!
I encountered a really strange problem. When trying to open submenus like Skirmish or Options I can't see the upcoming menus at all or only parts of it. For example, when I try opening the Options menu all I see is a small stripe in the middle of the screen showing cut off options like game settings etc. The strangest thing is that just now i wanted to take a screenshot in order to illustrate my problem, but after opening the screenshot in paint I suddenly was able to see the rest of the cut of menu on the screenshot.. What I see in game is inside the red rectangle.
I'm using a Laptop with Windows 7, 64-Bit.
Any ideas what causes this problem?

Unfortunately, unless you have non-default DPI settings, I don't know of anything that could fix this. Some others have had similar problems with some laptops running Windows 7 aswell, and we couldn't find a solution.
It's possible that someone else could have more ideas for fixing it, but I don't really have an idea.

Like Rampastring said, check your DPI settings (Go to Control Panel > Display) and make sure it's set to 100%, like in the image below.
If that doesn't work, try running the game with different resolutions and see whether that makes a difference.

I checked my DPI settings and also tried changing the resolution but it had no effect. Anyway, thank you for your help!

Hello. I'm new in this forum. Hey man, you have the same problem i had. Googling in the internet (don't rememeber where) I found a solution. It's an issue with the Intel HD Graphics Controller. To solve this, you have to go into the Intel Graphics software, click in the Energy option, and set the Performance to the highest level. Don't know why this happend, but it worked fine for me. I hope it would be usefull for you.
PD: Sorry about my english, i'm still learning. I hope you can understand me.

Hi,
My friend also has this problem. When he loads up the menus they don't fully appear and he can't tick or untick any boxes. If he returns to the desktop and goes back into the menu the changes appear.
When we finally manage to load a game his screen is just frozen.
Does anyone know of a solution to the problem? I have accessed the Intel graphics card but none of the changes seem to work?
