Heya guys I am having trouble trying to play DTA 1.10 on CnCNet. To my understanding I need to put the modified "wsock32.dll" file into the DTA directory and rename it to "UDP_DTA.dll". I then tried going into the Lan lobby but wasn't connected to CnCNet. So next I tried copying in the CnCNet.exe and CnCNet.dll and tried to launch DTA via double clicking CnCNet.exe as this worked for Tiberium Sun. However a message popped up saying that "CnCNet.exe could not find any compatible games in current directory. Sorry
"
Is there something I am doing wrong or missing something? It would be cool if I could get some assistance.
I am running Windows 7 64bit and using CnCNet v 3.1a
Cheers guys

Awesome! Worked like a charm. Are these steps noted down anywhere? I did a fair bit of looking around but couldn't locate them which is what lead me to ask for help here.
Thanks heaps for your help

No, this isn't noted down anywhere since CnCNet 3 hasn't been around for too long and its support only takes DTA 1.11 into account. Copying DTA.exe and renaming it to dta.dat is necessary because that's the file CnCNet 3 looks for when trying to start the game since that's what DTA 1.11 uses.

Thanks for clearing all this up for me
I did notice that when I was playing DTA it was counting my "player online" status as Tiberium Sun and not towards DTA. (The players online status here http://cncnet.org/)
I did copy my modified wsock32.dll from TS so could that be the cause? Any idea what needs to be done to make it recognise and count towards DTA instead?

You can't fix that yourself unless you do some hex-editing on DTA.dat/.exe. Better wait for 1.11
This is because DTA 1.10 and previous versions use the same protocol as TS (obviously since it's the TS engine), but in 1.11 we have our own protocol identifier so CnCNet can detect us based on that.
