Hello i am new to DTA and these forums but these errors are keeping me from playing. Every time i start skirmish no matter what faction or map it crashes while loading. i have attempted to run in administrator mode even reinstallled the mod many times in many new folders but its never seems to work. When i attempt to run in administrator mode It tells me some DLLs are missing or damaged even though they are all there. Please if anyone can get back to me it would mean alot!

So you downloaded DTA 1.10 and extracted the zip file into an empty folder, you run DTA.exe to play and it then crashes whenever you're trying to start a skirmish game (while the map is loading)?
Do you remember where (which mirror) you downloaded it from and if you still have the zip file, tell me the exact file size (it's possible it got corrupted during the download).
Also, see if all of the following files are present:
BLOWFISH.DLL
DTA.exe
DTA.mix
Lang_DTA.dll
Maps.mix
multi_dta.dmp
UDP_DTA.dll
For as far as I know running DTA in Windows XP compatibility mode won't make a difference, but you could try running it in Windows 98 compatibility mode.
Also running DTA as administrator is usually necessary and doing this normally prevents the missing DLLs error from appearing...

I downloaded DTA from tiberiumweb and the full zip size is 90.2mb i checked and all the files that are needed are there and they are in an empty folder.
Also a point of intrest is that none of the loading sreen text such as "Gathering intel on enemy location" ever shows up. I dont know of any relation of this mod to Twisted Inssurection BUT that same thing happens there too.
If my files are getting damaged do any of you know any good programs to use?

We use the same Tiberian Sun engine as TI, so if you have issues like that with TI or DTA, it's likely that the issue will be in the other game aswell. And since they use the same engine, if TI doesn't crash during loading a map, DTA also shouldn't.
I really can't see a reason for the crashes you're having, the file size also appears to be correct (for me it shows 90,3 MB). Although files inside .MIX files can sometimes get corrupted even if the installation package was downloaded entirely.
You could try redownloading and reinstalling, probably from another mirror like CNCXS since Tibweb is often pretty unreliable.

If you have Vista/Win7, try running the game in compatibility mode for Windows XP.
