Hi, me again
It seems DTA wont recognize any network card.
At the same time, trying the same thing on the original Tiberian Sun, i see a couple of cards, my everyday conection and hamachis.
Running WinXp
Tried checking IPX, working on both conections, also tried the wsock32.dll and the lan patches por TS
Thanks in advanced!

DTA already has the LAN patch included by default. To remove it, you could try removing UDP_DTA.dll (or renaming it to something else), although it should work perfectly fine with it...

Getting 0000000's for the network card in the game's options with the LAN patch is normal; with the LAN patch you don't need the IPX protocol anymore, because the patch makes TS/DTA/RA2 use the UDP protocol instead.

Indeed. I thought he meant he was unable to enter the LAN lobby, but it seems there's not really any problem after all

DTA includes the LAN patch , so you don't need to get it.
Just go to the LAN lobby in DTA and you should be able to play.
You can also uninstall the IPX protocol if you want, because with the LAN patch DTA doesn't need the IPX protocol anymore.

curious thing is I dl DTA, unzip, run, without doing anything else, and no choice at the card option
weirder is, a friend with almost same pc aspects, gets the same thing, no lan card selection, only 0
ive tried adding everthing to my conection, still no card selection

As I've said twice before, you don't need to see any cards in the network options, just go to the LAN lobby and your computers should see eachother.
The IPX protocol is NOT NEEDED with the UDP Patch, which DTA includes. And because of that the LAN options show 0's for the network card.

That's a common issue that isn't really related to DTA itself. TS might carry some of the fault, but I think mostly the version of hamachi and your operating system are to blame.
Any version of Hamachi after 1.0.1.5 often cause problems when trying to play TS (and obviously also DTA); a while ago tried the latest version of Hamachi myself and it didn't work and it worked perfectly fine as soon as I went back to version 1.0.1.5.
You can download Hamachi 1.0.1.5 from this link.
Although I personally use Windows Vista (x64) to play DTA over Hamachi, the OS does cause problems for some people. Usually the person with the newest OS will have to host and if nobody can see each other, compatibility mode might also help.
A common problem for me is that people can't see me when I'm in the lobby, while they can see everything I type and they also can see my game when I host.
